If we want God’s blessing, we need to be obedient to His commands and what He says. As Christians, we are able to hear from God — but are we listening (1 Kings 19:11-13)? When we quiet our hearts in prayer, we can tune into what He is saying (Hebrews 4:16). He speaks to us through His Word, which means we need to be in the Bible daily (2 Timothy 3:16-17). He also speaks to us through wise, godly counsel, so getting in a growth group and investing in godly relationships are important (Proverbs 15:22). Finally, God can speak to us through divine circumstances, and we can test it by seeing if it aligns with Scripture.
