God reveals Himself to us through creation, scripture and Christ (Psalm 19:1-4; Genesis 1). However, our human nature of rebellion destroys our relationship with Him (Genesis 3:1-13). That rebellion leads to sin, shame, hiding, fear and blame. But if we can admit we’re sinners (Romans 3:23), believe in what Jesus has done (Romans 10:9) and commit our lives to Him, there’s hope (Romans 5:8). How we view God directly impacts the way we live our lives and how we relate to Him. That means if we say we have faith in God, it should affect the way we live, the way we talk, what we think about, the words we say, the things we choose to do (Isaiah 55:9).
