Where is God in my Suffering?
It’s often hard to make sense of suffering. Suffering will either draw us closer to God or it’ll push us further away. Whether it’s financial, emotional, relational or personal, suffering impacts us all — but it doesn’t have to make us anxious or fearful (Philippians 4:6-7). In fact, suffering can strengthen us; it can allow us to help others who are going through the same things. To experience the good that can come out of suffering, we have to surrender our circumstances to the Lord. When we do this, we can cling to hope and hang onto the grace of God no matter what we are going through (Hebrews 12:2; Philippians 4:6-7).
