In life, we encounter things that we have never experienced before, and we can faithfully walk through these unknown seasons with confidence and courage. No matter what life has thrown at us, we have the option to choose how we want to live and Who we want to live for. We need to choose Who’s side we want to be on and commit to taking action (Joshua 2:1-11). When we enter into new territory, we should pick God’s ways over our own ways. This means doing more than just believing in God — it means living for Him too (Matthew 7:21-23). When we choose Christ over our own desires and the pressures from others and society, we set ourselves up for eternal victory (Joshua 2:12-24; Hebrews 11:31). He gives us victory over death and when we surrender and choose Him, His grace covers us (Ephesians 2:1-4).
