Happy New Year! 

The famous words, “In the Beginning”, start off scripture.  But more important than the opening phrase of Genesis is the next word:  “God”.  It was He who was in the beginning, organizing and crafting creation, setting things in motion and putting things in order.  If God is a God of order and purpose, why shouldn’t we be similar when it comes to the gift of a New Year?  We need to start off 2023 with God as our focal point, author, and goal.  In the beginning, God…  What about in your life?
