Only God knows details of the end times, which means the best source of information is God’s Word (Matthew 24:1-8; Matthew 24:36-42). There, He gives us indicators and warnings. When we receive an indication, it lets us know to start preparing. This is true for whatever questions we have, including those we might have about the end times. One of the first indicators of the end times that God gives us are the rise of false prophets (2 Timothy 4:3-4). The others are wars and rumors of wars, and famines and earthquakes. God also has given us warnings (Matthew 24:14), like the abomination of desolation (Matthew 24:15-21). As we prepare, we must stay connected and engaged (1 Peter 5:8) because we grow weak and vulnerable when we become complacent. Rather, we should be living boldly as if it’s our last day on Earth!
