It’s Time: Ready, Set …
In this world, we have either been offended or have offended someone. When we find ourselves hurt and offended, it’s easy to justify our anger and desire to get back at that person. But instead of choosing offense, we can choose grace; we can choose the way of Jesus over the way of the world (Nehemiah 6:1-4; Matthew 5:43-48). It’s natural to want to hurt those who hurt us, but that’s not how Jesus says we should act. When people are saying things about us and it’s not true, we want to retaliate — but we shouldn’t. Taking the high road on our own is very difficult, but following the example of Christ — and with His help — it’s possible (Romans 12:17-21; 1 Peter 2:21-25; 1 Peter 3:8-9). The high road is humbling ourselves and entrusting ourselves to God and believing that He cares for us in all circumstances.

3) What is more important to me? Being right or keeping peace and a solid foundation in my relationships?
