As One
The best way to move forward is together, and the best teams are united in purpose and focus. When we maximize our differences, we minimize our success, which is why when we aren’t unified, we get distracted (John 17:20-23). When we are one, we reflect the heart of Christ because our unity is the proof of Jesus’ divinity (Ephesians 4:4). We exist to be changed by Jesus so that we can live like Him. As we draw closer to God through reading His Word, we learn how to thrive in our relationships, steward our finances, raise our children, etc. Nothing worth having comes easy, which means we need to be intentional about having a unified heart (Ephesians 4:1-6). Taking a look at how humble, gentle and patient we are with others will reveal a lot about our hearts.
