Passing the Torch

In all areas of our lives, we should strive to create healthy, sustainable models, relationships and characteristics that are fruitful and multiply (Genesis 1:11-22). We have the image of God on our hearts, and He has set us apart from the rest of creation (Genesis 1:26-28). Christ’s heart for us and the rest of humanity is to share in the extraordinary things He is doing (2 Timothy 2:2). We are called to plant seeds of the gospel all around us and nurture the relationships God has put in our lives. Through these relationships, we can start to invite others to be part of the extraordinary things God has planned. This might mean learning what it means to be a leader, and for others, it might mean taking a step back and letting others continue the legacy. But only through building strong relationships will we grow as Christians and grow fruits that will help us multiply His Kingdom.
Points To Ponder
1) Where am I planting seeds of the gospel?
2) How am I nurturing the relationships around me?
3) How am I inviting others to be part of the extraordinary things of God?
