Ending the Year Right!
As 2021 comes to a close and we look forward to the new year, we want to encourage you to fight one more round (2 Timothy 4:7). After months of feeling defeated, tired and uncertain, it's important to maintain a non-anxious presence. To do that, we should look back before looking forward because we can't know where we're going unless we know where we've been (1 Corinthians 11:27-28). This gives us a chance to examine ourselves and take a hard look at our hearts and minds (Jeremiah 17:9-10; Galatians 5:19-22). When we do this, it forces us to be honest with ourselves and recognize that we are all sinners in need of a Savior. Regardless of what we discover upon this introspection, Christ offers forgiveness and grace. Life, after all, is all about perspective (Philippians 4:8-9).
2) What is my perspective on life?
3) What am I going to give attention to in 2022?
